    Questions

Before you call, the honest answers.

    What's included in the price?

The calculator shows installation labor, old-floor removal, baseboard / transitions and stairs as separate lines, so you see what you pay for. Subfloor repair, if needed, is quoted only after an on-site inspection.

What if my subfloor needs work?

We check the subfloor at the measure. If it needs leveling or repair, we point it out and put it in your estimate before any work starts.

Are estimates free? How soon can you start?

Yes — estimates are free, and we come out to measure quickly. Once you approve the estimate, your job goes on our schedule; we'll tell you the start date.

Furniture, pets, dust — how does it work?

We go over furniture, pets and access at the measure, so everyone knows who moves what before install day. Removing old flooring can be dusty — ask us how we keep it contained in your home.

LVP or laminate for a kitchen or entry?

For kitchens, baths, entries and laundry rooms many homeowners choose LVP, because most products have a water-resistant core. Laminate is usually best in dry rooms. Check the product's own specs — we'll help you choose.

Do you do stairs and transitions?

Yes — stairs and baseboards are a big part of our work (see the stairs above). Treads and nosings are matched to the floor, and transitions between rooms are finished clean.

Are you licensed and insured? Is there a warranty?

Yes — licensed and insured, residential and commercial (WA L&I # GRANDIF788PC). Every install comes with a 1-year warranty on installation (labor, not materials). Full terms are in the contract you get with your estimate.

    How can I pay?

    Card, check or cash.

    Where do you work?

All of Washington State — most often Tacoma–Seattle, Gig Harbor–Port Angeles, North Bend and Everett. A travel fee may apply for distant jobs.

What does a promo code do?

A valid code takes a percent off the estimated labor. It shows in your price and goes into the estimate we email you.
